Image: Kuririn takes control of the Genki Dama      As Vegeta and Gohan continue their close-quarters combat, Kuririn forms the collected energy into a ball and takes aim at Vegeta.

Back at the Kame House, Chichi continues to root Gohan on, even as the Ox King tells Gohan to run away. Chichi realizes what she has been saying, and begins to sob into her father's lap. Uranai Baba has a hard time keeping the crystal ball tuned to the rapid movements of Gohan and Vegeta.

Image: Gohan fires a Kamehame Ha at Vegeta      Gohan and Vegeta split up somewhat, and Vegeta launches an energy blast at Gohan. He dodges it at the last instant, and returns several Kamehame Ha blasts, each of which Vegeta avoids. Kuririn worries how he can hit Vegeta when he is moving around so much. Kaio-sama speaks to Kuririn's mind, telling him not to aim at Vegeta with his eyes, but to aim at the evil in Vegeta's Ki. Kuririn feels the weight of his task as Kaio-sama reminds him the hopes and prayers of the entire world rest on his shoulders.

Vegeta grows impatient, and begins shooting rapid-fire energy blasts at Gohan, who briefly manages to stay ahead of the onslaught, but is eventually knocked against a bluff. Kuririn concentrates even harder on feeling out Vegeta's evil. Vegeta rushes toward a stunned Gohan to finish him off as Kuririn finally locks on!

Image: Kuririn receives instruction from Kaio-sama's voice     Just as Kuririn is about to launch the ball, an impatient Yajirobe yells at him to get on with it, drawing Vegeta's attention. Kuririn curses Yajirobe and throws the Dama, but Vegeta sees it coming and leaps out of the way!

It is at this instant that Uranai Baba's crystal ball shatters, leaving everyone at the Kame House hanging. Goku sends a telepathic message to Gohan, telling him the ball is still seeking out evil energy, and he should be able to repel it. The pure-hearted Gohan puts his hands out, and is able to bounce the ball back toward the fleeing Vegeta, scoring a direct hit! Vegeta writhes in pain, as the force of an entire planet courses through his body.

Image: Kuririn hurls the Genki Dama at Vegeta     At the Kame House, Uranai Baba attempts to repair her crystal ball as Bulma offers to take Chichi to the battle site to see what is happening. The Turtle Hermit offers to go as well, as does Karin-sama, surprising everyone with his entrance. They all board Bulma's airship and take off in the direction of the battle.

Gohan and Kuririn gather around Goku, and the three of them congratulate each other on a battle well fought. Vegeta's limp form falls out of the sky and lands nearby, startling them. Taking him for dead, Yajirobe decides to come out of hiding and Kuririn suggests they dig a grave. Suddenly snapping to, Vegeta suggests it would be their own grave! Rising to his feet, Vegeta knocks Kuririn to the ground, vowing to obliterate the entire planet.

Image: Gohan bounces the Genki Dama back toward Vegeta     From the back seat of Bulma's airship, Karin-sama guides Bulma to the site of the action. The Turtle Hermit whispers to Bulma what an honor it is for her, but she remains unimpressed by the talking cat.

Beside himself with rage, Vegeta curses his opponents and discharges most of his remaining energy with a surprisingly strong Shogeki-ha shockwave blast. The Z team is knocked around a bit, but everyone manages to survive the attack, disappointing Vegeta. On the verge of collapse himself, he hovers slowly over to where Gohan is laying, and to his horror, discovers that Gohan's tail has grown back! Kuririn remarks how Goku's tail had grown back before as well. Glancing at his artificial moon, Vegeta realizes how much trouble he may be in for!
